Dr. Natasha Hough
Registered Osteopath. B.Sc.(Clin. Sc). M.H.Sc.(Osteo). A.O.A member.
Natasha spent several years working in the eastern suburbs before becoming the principal practitioner at Fairfield Osteopathic Clinic. Natasha has had many years of clinical experience in both private practice and rehabilitation settings within Australia and overseas. Natasha has completed training in Cranio-Sacral Therapy and Paediatric Osteopathy and has a special interest in treating pre and post natal complaints and infants and children.
Dr. Paula Henderson
Registered Osteopath. B.App. Sc. (Osteopathy). B.Bus. A.O.A member.
Paula has been practicing as an Osteopath since 1994. Paula’s style of practice has evolved during this time. It incorporates an approach which includes assessing the well being of the body as well as the emotional and mental aspects of the people she works with. Paula lectures to Osteopathic students at RMIT University where she endeavours to assist each student to reach their full potential.
Dr. Brigid Fitzpatrick
Registered Osteopath. B.App.Sc. (HM), B.Sc. (Clin.Sc), M.H.Sc. (Osteo). AOA member.
Brigid has extensive experience in rehabilitation and exercise therapy, having completed a degree in Human Movement in 2003. Brigid has worked in a hospital rehabilitation setting as well as working as a gym instructor and personal trainer since 2005. In addition to working as an Osteopath Brigid currently works as a Health and Lifestyle Coach co-ordinating group fitness classes and providing comprehensive health checks. Brigid has a special interest in integrating body strengthening, nutrition and psychological stress management into her treatment approach which allows her to provide holistic care to her patients.
Dr. Carmen Marom
Registered Osteopath, B.App.Sc. (Comp Med). M.Ost. A.O.A Member.
Carmen has completed Masters research into the effectiveness of Medicare’s Chronic Disease Management scheme and has a particular interest in incorporating Osteopathic treatment with the management of chronic conditions such as type 1 and 2 diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis. Another area of interest is that of treating commonly seen injuries and stresses put on musicians bodies through hours of repetitive movements. In the treatment of musculoskeletal problems Carmen will address physical strains and imbalances, as well as providing ideas of ways to adjust day to day habits that may be contributing to the maintenance of these issues.
Dr. Laura Burke
Registered Osteopath. B.Sc. (Clin.Sc), M.H.Sc. (Osteo). A.O.A Member.
Laura completed her Masters research on developing a clinical examination protocol for infants aged 0-6 months, and has a special interest in pursuing further study in Paediatric Osteopathy. Laura’s main focus in practice has been undertaking thorough and holistic treatment of patients. She seeks to fully understand the nature of a complaint and always follow it through with the patient to a positive conclusion. Laura places an emphasis on helping patients to fully understand their condition, so each individual is able to incorporate strengthening, stretching or stress management techniques into daily life to better manage their pain.
Cathy Robbins
Remedial Massage Therapist. AAMT member.
Cathy Robbins is a fully qualified Remedial Massage Therapist and a member of the AAMT. She is trained in remedial massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, relaxation massage, pregnancy massage and post-natal massage. Cathy is currently pursuing further studies in Osteopathy at Victoria University.
Vicki van der Meer
Naturopath. B.Health Sc. (Naturopathy). NHAA member.
Vicki is a fully qualified naturopath with a Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy. She is a full member of the National Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA). Vicki is a ‘general practice’ naturopath, but has a special interest in conditions associated with stress, anxiety and digestive problems, as well as women’s health and hormonal problems.
Her treatments are a blend of traditional naturopathic wisdom, and the latest in scientific research. She aims to treat the whole person with an emphasis on prevention and patient education to support each individual’s quest for health. Vicki loves to motivate her patients to make positive changes to improve their health and wellbeing.
